Today, the Nigerian Equities market closed positive as the benchmark index increased by 2.87% to 94,538.12 points. Consequently, the market’s year-to-date returns (YTD) increased to 26.43%. Market movers today were DANGCEM, BUACEM, SEPLAT and DANGSUGAR while the draggers were GTCO, TRANSCORP, NB and PZ.
Total Volume and Value traded dropped to 759.14mn units and NGN12.99bn respectively. FIDELITYBANK traded the highest in terms of Volume while BUACEM traded the highest in terms of Value.
Top gainers for today were BUACEM, SEPLAT and MAYBAKER while the top losers were LASACO, CILEASING and MBENEFIT.
