Today, the Nigerian stock market ended on a down note, witnessing a 0.23% drop in the All-Share Index (ASI) to close at 97,473.98 points. This resulted in a decrease in the market’s year-to-date (YtD) returns to 30.36%. Market activity saw a negative trend, with total volume traded falling by 29.50% to 306.60 mn units, and the value traded declining by 48.63% to NGN5.8bn. Notably, ACCESSCORP recorded the highest volume traded, while MTN Value led in terms of value traded.
Today, LEARNAFRCA, REGALINS and CUTIX topped the gainers chart, while DANGSUGAR, NEM and CAVERTON topped the loser’s chart.

Today, the NT-bill secondary market closed flat at 22.41%. However, the FGN bond market ended the day on a negative note as the average yield rose by 0.02% to close at 18.64%. Overall, the Naira Fixed Income market closed negative as the average yield increased by 0.01% to settle at 20.53%.
