The Nigerian Equities Market closed the day positive as its benchmark index rose by 0.93% to settle at 67,378.88 points in today’s trading session. Consequently, the Year-to-Date (YtD) returns rose to 31.47% (Yesterday: 30.26% YtD). The gains in DANGSUGAR, GTCO, ACCESSCORP, UBA, and TRANSCORP offset the losses in STANBIC, LAFARGE, NPFMCRFB, E-TRANSACT and CUTIX.
The Total Volume and Value traded for today are 569.63mn units and NGN8.70bn. OANDO traded the highest in terms of Volume while OANDO traded the highest in terms of Value.
The top gainers in today’s trading session were DANGSUGAR, NAHCO and CWG while the top losers were COURTVILLE, ABCTRANS, TANTALIZER.

At the Nigerian Treasury bills market today, the average yield increased by 0.01% to settle at 7.98% while at the FGN Bond market, average yield fell by 0.03% to close at 14.29%.
