Today, the Nigerian Equities market closed positive as the benchmark index increased by 0.25% to 102,401.88 points. Consequently, the market’s year-to-date returns (YTD) increased to 36.95%. Market movers today were FBNH, DANGSUGAR, PZ and FCMB while the draggers were TRANSCORP, NB, JAIZBANK and INTERNATIONAL BREWERIES.
Total Volume increased to 519.39mn units while total Value traded fell to NGN8.85bn. JAPAULGOLD traded the highest in terms of Volume while GTCO traded the highest in terms of Value.
Top gainers for today were JAPAULGOLD, PZ and ROYALEX while the top losers were JAIZBANK, TANTALIZER and DAARCOMM.
