Daily Market Update (Equities)
Today, the Nigerian Equities market performance declined as its benchmark index fell by 0.38% to 67,098.80 points. Notably, its year-to-date (YtD) returns rose to 30.92% (vs. Yesterday’s YtD: 31.42%). The losses recorded in STANBIC IBTC, ACCESSCORP and MTNN offset the gains incurred in GTCO, FIDSON and SUNU ASSURANCE.
The Total Volume and Value traded for today are 298.69mn units and NGN4.48bn. FIDELITYBK traded the highest in terms of Volume, while GTCO traded the highest in terms of Value.
The top losers were OMATEK, STANBIC IBTC and CHAMPION. While the top gainers were LEARNAFRCA, DAARCOMM and CHAMS.

The NT-bills secondary market performance declined as average yield increased by 0.21% to settle at 6.73%. However, the FGN Bond market closed higher as average yield fell by 0.02% to settle at 14.44%.
